Jamie is a native to the Kansas City area.  She attended the Johnson County Community College School of Nursing and graduated in May 2001 with her associate degree in nursing.  She started her career as a Registered Nurse bedside, and quickly moved on to Perioperative Services.  She chose to specialize in plastic surgery in April of 2007.  Hearing a patient’s story at their consultation, assisting Dr. Young on surgery day, and guiding them through their post operative care is what drives her passion for cosmetic surgery.

Outside of work, Jamie prioritizes family time.  She enjoys gardening, fishing, and caring for her small farm animals.
