How Long do Liposuction Results Last?

Liposuction removes stubborn deposits of fat from the body. Suitable for nearly any area with excess accumulations, liposuction can safely remove up to eight pounds of fat from each treatment area. However, it is not a suitable method for weight loss.

Following liposuction, a slight recovery period is required. Activities will need to be limited during this time to enable your body to heal properly. Once you have recovered completely, typically between weeks six and eight, you can resume all normal activities, but with improved clothing options, a greater range of motion, and a more attractive frame.

Liposuction is Permanent

Liposuction is permanent. Removed fat cannot come back. Sculpted areas of the frame will retain their new size and shape so long as you avoid weight gain.
