Woman Receiving Lip Injections

With dates in February, March, April, and May, the American Med Spa Association is hosting a course, the Fear of Injections is the Fear of Anatomy®, for physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, and registered nurses. Our new injector, Delanie Deorsey has secured a spot at one of these sold-out sessions.

Providing 12-hours of CME (Continuing Medical Education) hours, this course will include sessions on:

  • Facial Anatomy
  • Filler Complications
  • Ultrasound Injector Techniques
  • Facial Artery & Pyroform Injections
  • Temple & Peri-orbital Rejuvenation

Sessions reviewing neurotoxins, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, along with lip augmentation techniques and more will also be included in this course.

Faculty for this event include Christopher C. Surek, DO, an internationally recognized facial anatomist, and Steven Weiner, MD, creator of the reJAWvenation procedure. Joining these two will be Academy of Injection Anatomy faculty members George Baxter-Holder, ARNP, DNP, CANS, and Kevin Harrington, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, along with co-faculty member Hermine Warren, DNP, APRN, CANS, CNM.

Delanie is thrilled at the opportunity to learn from such luminary figures in the world of non-surgical cosmetic arts.
